قُبِضَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْبَاقِرُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ سَبْعٍ وَخَمْسِينَ سَنَةً فِي عَامِ أَرْبَعَ عَشْرَةَ وَمِائَةٍ عَاشَ بَعْدَ عَلِيِّ بن الحسين (عَلَيْهما السَّلام) تِسْعَ عَشْرَةَ سَنَةً وَشَهْرَيْنِ.

سعد بن عبد اللہ اور الحمیری، سب نے مل کر، ابراہیم بن مہزیار سے، وہ اپنے بھائی علی بن مہزیار سے، وہ الحسن بن سعید سے، وہ محمد بن سنان سے، وہ ابن مسکان سے، وہ ابو بصیر سے، وہ ابو عبد اللہ (علیہ السلام) سے روایت کرتے ہیں، جنہوں نے فرمایا: محمد بن علی الباقر کی وفات اس وقت ہوئی جب وہ ستاون برس کے تھے، سن ایک سو چودہ میں۔ وہ علی بن الحسین (علیہما السلام) کے بعد انیس سال اور دو ماہ زندہ رہے۔
Translation
6. Sa‘d. ibn ‘Abdallah and al-Himyari all have narrated from Ibrahim ibn Mahziyar from his brother, ali ibn Mhaziyar from al-Husayn ibn Sa‘id from Muhammad ibn Sinan from ibn Muskan from abu Basir from abu ‘Abdallah who has said the following. “Muhammad ibn Ali al-Baqir passed away at the age of fifty seven, in the year one hundred fourteen AH. He lived for nineteen years and two months after Ali ibn al-Husayn (a.s.).”
