قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ( عليه السلام ) اسْتَعِطُوا بِالْبَنَفْسَجِ فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) قَالَ لَوْ يَعْلَمُ النَّاسُ مَا فِي الْبَنَفْسَجِ لَحَسَوْهُ حَسْواً .
Translation
Muhammad Bin yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from al Qasim Bin yahya, from his grandfather Al Hassan Bin Rashid, from Muhammad Bin Muslim, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Amir Al-Momineen<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Sniff the violet (oil), for Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> said: ‘Had the people known what was in the violet (oil), they would have drunk it (like) soup (slurping)’.
