ذُكِرَتْ عِنْدَ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) الْأَدْهَانُ فَذُكِرَ الْبَنَفْسَجُ وَ فَضْلُهُ فَقَالَ نِعْمَ الدُّهْنُ الْبَنَفْسَجُ ادَّهِنُوا بِهِ فَإِنَّ فَضْلَهُ عَلَى الْأَدْهَانِ كَفَضْلِنَا عَلَى النَّاسِ وَ الْبَانُ دُهْنُ ذَكَرٍ نِعْمَ الدُّهْنُ الْبَانُ وَ إِنَّهُ لَيُعْجِبُنِي الْخَلُوقُ .
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Isa, from Ali Bin Al Hakam, from Muhammad Bin Al Fayz who said, ‘The (massaging) oils were mentioned in the presence of Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, so the violet (oil) was mentioned, and its merits, so he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘The best of the (massaging) oils is the violet, oil (massage) with it, for its merit over the (rest of the) oils is like our<sup>asws</sup> merits over the (rest of the) people’. And he<sup>asws</sup> mentioned the frankincense oil: ‘The best of the oils is the frankincense, and it is <span class="iTxt">Al-Khalouq</span> which appeals to me<sup>asws</sup>’.
