John Shaqi

قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( صلوات الله عليه ) إِنَّ مِنَ الْحَقِّ أَنْ يَقُولَ الرَّاكِبُ لِلْمَاشِي الطَّرِيقَ . وَ فِي نُسْخَةٍ أُخْرَى إِنَّ مِنَ الْجَوْرِ أَنْ يَقُولَ الرَّاكِبُ لِلْمَاشِي الطَّرِيقَ .


Translation

Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Hisham Bin Salim who said, ‘Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘It is from the right that the rider says to the walker, ‘The road’ (Make way)’. And in another copy – ‘(He<sup>asws</sup> said): ‘It is from the inequity that the rider should be saying to the walker, ‘The road’ (Make way)’.
