سُئِلَ عَنِ الْكِلَابِ فَقَالَ كُلُّ أَسْوَدَ بَهِيمٌ وَ كُلُّ أَحْمَرَ بَهِيمٌ وَ كُلُّ أَبْيَضَ بَهِيمٌ فَذَلِكَ خَلْقٌ مِنَ الْكِلَابِ مِنَ الْجِنِّ وَ مَا كَانَ أَبْلَقَ فَهُوَ مَسْخٌ مِنَ الْجِنِّ وَ الْإِنْسِ .
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Muhammad Bin Al Husayn, from Abdul Rahman Bin Abu Hashim, from Salim Bin Abu Salma, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, said, ‘He<sup>asws</sup> was asked about the dogs, so he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Every entirely black one, and every entirely red one, and every entirely white one, so that is a creature from the dogs from the Jinn, and whatever was speckled, so it is one morphed from the Jinn and the humans’.
