ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام کا ایک آزاد کردہ غلام جسے اعین کہتے تھے میرے ساتھ تھا۔ وہ کچھ دن بیمار رہا، پھر صحتیاب ہو گیا، پھر وہ فوت ہو گیا۔ تو میں نے اس کا سامان اور جو کچھ اس کا تھا لے لیا اور اسے ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام کے پاس لایا اور انہیں بتایا کہ وہ کچھ دن بیمار رہا، پھر صحتیاب ہوا، پھر فوت ہو گیا۔ آپ نے فرمایا: یہ موت کی راحت ہے۔ سنو! کوئی بھی نہیں مرتا یہاں تک کہ اللہ عزوجل اس کی سماعت، بصارت اور عقل کو وصیت کے لیے واپس نہیں لوٹا دیتا، چاہے وہ وصیت کرے یا نہ کرے۔

Translation

Al Husayn Bin Muhammad, from Moala Bin Muhammad, from Al Hassan Bin Ali, from Hamaad Bin Usman, from Al Waleed Bin Sabeeh who said, ‘A slave of Abu Abdullah^asws called Ayn accompanied me. So he complained (of health problems) for some days, then he was cured from it, then died. So I took his belongings and came with these to Abu Abdullah^asws, and informed him^asws that he had complained for a few days, then was cured, then died’. He^asws said: ‘That is the comfort of the death. But, there is no one who died until Allah^azwj Mighty and Majestic Restores his hearing, and his eyesight, and his mind for the bequest, (either) he takes it or leaves it’.
