قَضَى أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ( عليه السلام ) أَنَّ الْمُدَبَّرَ مِنَ الثُّلُثِ وَ أَنَّ لِلرَّجُلِ أَنْ يَنْقُضَ وَصِيَّتَهُ فَيَزِيدَ فِيهَا وَ يَنْقُصَ مِنْهَا مَا لَمْ يَمُتْ .

علی بن ابراہیم سے، محمد بن عیسی سے، یونس سے، ابن مسکان سے، ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام سے، انہوں نے فرمایا: امیر المومنین علیہ السلام نے فیصلہ کیا کہ مدبر ترکے کے تہائی حصے سے ہے، اور یہ کہ آدمی کو حق ہے کہ وہ اپنی وصیت کو منسوخ کرے، پھر اس میں اضافہ یا کمی کرے جب تک کہ اس کا انتقال نہ ہو جائے۔
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from Muhammad Bin Isa, from Yunus, from Ibn Muskan, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Amir Al-Momineen<sup>asws</sup> judged that the <span class="iTxt">Mudabbar </span>(slave to be emancipated (liberated) upon the death of the master), is from the third; and it is up to the man that he invalidates his bequest, so he can increase in it, and decrease from it, for as long as he had not died’.
