قَالَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ ( عليه السلام ) لِلرَّجُلِ أَنْ يُغَيِّرَ وَصِيَّتَهُ فَيُعْتِقَ مَنْ كَانَ أَمَرَ بِمِلْكِهِ وَ يُمَلِّكَ مَنْ كَانَ أَمَرَ بِعِتْقِهِ وَ يُعْطِيَ مَنْ كَانَ حَرَمَهُ وَ يَحْرِمَ مَنْ كَانَ أَعْطَاهُ مَا لَمْ يَمُتْ .

علی بن ابراہیم نے محمد بن عیسیٰ سے، انہوں نے یونس سے، انہوں نے ان کے بعض اصحاب سے روایت کی کہ انہوں نے کہا: علی بن حسین علیہ السلام نے فرمایا: آدمی کے لیے جائز ہے کہ اپنی وصیت تبدیل کرے — پس جسے غلام رکھنے کا حکم دیا تھا اسے آزاد کر دے، اور جسے آزاد کرنے کا حکم دیا تھا اسے (مالک بنا کر) رکھ لے، اور جسے محروم رکھا تھا اسے دے دے، اور جسے دیا تھا اسے محروم کر دے — جب تک مرا نہ ہو۔
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from Muhammad Bin Isa, from Yunus, from one of his companions who said, ‘Ali<sup>asws</sup> Bin Al-Husayn<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘It is up to the man that he changes his bequest, so he frees the one who had been ordered to be kept as a slave, and enslaves the one whom he had ordered to be freed, and give to the one whom he had forbidden it, and forbid the one whom he had given to, for as long as he has not died’.
