سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) عَنْ رَجُلٍ تَصَدَّقَ بِصَدَقَةٍ عَلَى حَمِيمٍ أَ يَصْلُحُ لَهُ أَنْ يَرْجِعَ فِيهَا قَالَ لَا وَ لَكِنْ إِنِ احْتَاجَ فَلْيَأْخُذْ مِنْ حَمِيمِهِ مِنْ غَيْرِ مَا تَصَدَّقَ بِهِ عَلَيْهِ .
Translation
A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Abu Abdullah, from Usman Bin Isa, from Sama’at who said, ‘I asked Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> about a man who gave charity with a charity to a friend. Is it correct for him that he retracts with regards to it?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘No, but if he is needy, so let him take from his friend, from other than what he had given in charity to him’.
