Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ibn Fazal, from Ahmad Bin Umar Al Halby, from his father, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullahasws, said, ‘I asked himasws about a house which was not distributed, so one of the people of the house gave in charity with his share from the house. Heasws said: ‘He is allowed’. I said, ‘What is yourasws view if he had gifted it?’ Heasws said: ‘He is allowed’. He (the narrator) said, ‘And I asked himasws about a man who settled a man in his house for his lifetime. Heasws said: ‘He is allowed, and it is not for him that he should throw him out’. I said, ‘So it is for him and his offspring’. Heasws said: ‘He is allowed’. And I asked himasws about a man who settles a man but does not stipulate anything from the time period for him. Heasws said: ‘The owner of the house can vacate him if he so desires to’.
