Translation

Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Hamaad, from Al Halby, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullahasws regarding the man who settles the man in his house, and for it to be for his offspring from after him. Heasws said: ‘He is allowed, and it is not for them that they should sell it, nor for it to be inherited’. I said, ‘So a man settles a man in his house for his lifetime?’ Heasws said: ‘He is allowed that’. I said, ‘So a man settles a man in his house and does not stipulate a time period?’ Heasws said: ‘Allowed, and he can vacate him whenever he so desires to’.
