John Shaqi

قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) أَ لَا أُقْرِئُكَ وَصِيَّةَ فَاطِمَةَ ( عليها السلام ) قُلْتُ بَلَى قَالَ فَأَخْرَجَ إِلَيَّ صَحِيفَةً هَذَا مَا عَهِدَتْ فَاطِمَةُ بِنْتُ مُحَمَّدٍ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) فِي مَالِهَا إِلَى عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ( عليه السلام ) وَ إِنْ مَاتَ فَإِلَى الْحَسَنِ وَ إِنْ مَاتَ فَإِلَى الْحُسَيْنِ فَإِنْ مَاتَ الْحُسَيْنُ فَإِلَى الْأَكْبَرِ مِنْ وُلْدِي دُونَ وُلْدِكَ الدَّلَالُ وَ الْعَوَافُ وَ الْمَيْثَبُ وَ بُرْقَةُ وَ الْحُسْنَى وَ الصَّافِيَةُ وَ مَا لِأُمِّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ شَهِدَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ عَلَى ذَلِكَ وَ الْمِقْدَادُ بْنُ الْأَسْوَدِ وَ الزُّبَيْرُ بْنُ الْعَوَّامِ .


Translation

And from him, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Hammaad Bin Usman, from Abu Baseer who said, ‘Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Shall I<sup>asws</sup> read out to you the bequest of Syeda Fatima<sup>asws</sup>?’ I said, ‘Yes’. So he<sup>asws</sup> brought out a parchment to me, (and said): ‘This is what was assigned by Fatima<sup>asws</sup>, daughter<sup>asws</sup> of Muhammad<sup>saww</sup>, Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup>, with regards to her<sup>asws</sup> wealth, to Ali<sup>asws </sup>Bin Abu Talib<sup>asws</sup>, and if he<sup>asws</sup> passes away, so to Al-Hassan<sup>asws</sup>; and if he<sup>asws</sup> passes away, so to Al-Husayn<sup>asws</sup>; and if Al-Husayn<sup>asws</sup> passes away, so to the eldest from my<sup>asws</sup> children besides your<sup>asws</sup> children – (The walled gardens of) Al-Dallalo, and Al-Awaaf, and Al-Maysab, and Burqa, and Al-Husna, and Al-Safiya, and what was for mother of Ibrahim<sup>as</sup>. Allah<sup>azwj</sup> is Witness upon that, and A- Miqdad Bin Al-Aswad, and Al-Zubeyr Bin Al-Awaam’.
