اسْتَأْذَنَ عَلَى أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) قَوْمٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ النَّوَاحِي مِنَ الشِّيعَةِ فَأَذِنَ لَهُمْ فَدَخَلُوا فَسَأَلُوهُ فِي مَجْلِسٍ وَاحِدٍ عَنْ ثَلَاثِينَ أَلْفَ مَسْأَلَةٍ فَأَجَابَ ( عليه السلام ) وَ لَهُ عَشْرُ سِنِينَ .

علی بن ابراہیم، اپنے والد سے، کہتے ہیں: شیعہ کے دور دراز علاقوں کے لوگوں میں سے ایک جماعت نے ابوجعفر (عليه السلام) کی خدمت میں حاضر ہونے کی اجازت طلب کی، تو آپ نے انہیں اجازت دی اور وہ داخل ہوئے۔ پھر انہوں نے ایک ہی مجلس میں آپ سے تیس ہزار مسائل کے بارے میں سوال کیا، اور آپ (عليه السلام) نے جواب دیا، جبکہ آپ کی عمر دس سال تھی۔
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father who said, ‘I sought permission upon Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> (9<sup>th</sup> Imam<sup>asws</sup>) for a group from the people of the suburbs, from the Shias. So he<sup>asws</sup> permitted for them, and they came over and they asked him<sup>asws</sup> in one session, thirty thousand questions. So he<sup>asws</sup> answered, and for him<sup>asws</sup> were ten years (age)’.
