إِنَّ الَّذِي يَعْلَمُ عَدَدَ رَمْلِ عَالِجٍ لَيَعْلَمُ أَنَّ الْفَرَائِضَ لَا تَعُولُ عَلَى أَكْثَرَ مِنْ سِتَّةٍ .

الحسین بن محمد نے معلّی بن محمد سے، انہوں نے ہمارے بعض اصحاب سے، انہوں نے ابان بن عثمان سے، انہوں نے ابو مریم الانصاری سے، انہوں نے ابو جعفر علیہ السلام سے روایت کی کہ آپ نے فرمایا: بے شک وہ ذات جو عالجؔ (صحرا) کی ریت کے ذروں کی تعداد جانتی ہے، وہ یقیناً یہ بھی جانتی ہے کہ فرائض (وراثت کے حصے) چھ سے زیادہ نہیں ہو سکتے۔
Translation
Al Husayn Bin Muhammad, from Moala Bin Muhammad, from one of our companions, from Aban Bin Usman, from Abu Maryam Al Ansary, (It has been narrated) from Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘The One<sup>azwj</sup> Who Knows the number of (grains of) sand can be relied upon to know that the Obligatory (legislated shares of inheritance), there cannot be a deficiency/excess (in these), are no more than six’.
