John Shaqi

إِنَّمَا جُعِلَ لِلْمَرْأَةِ قِيمَةُ الْخَشَبِ وَ الطُّوبِ كَيْلَا يَتَزَوَّجْنَ فَيَدْخُلَ عَلَيْهِمْ يَعْنِي أَهْلَ الْمَوَارِيثِ مَنْ يُفْسِدُ مَوَارِيثَهُمْ .


Translation

Al Husayn Bin Muhammad, from Moala Bin Muhammad, from Al Hassan Bin Ali, from Hammad Bin Usman, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘But rather, for the woman would be made the value of the wood and the bricks, perhaps she would be getting married, so she would enter upon them, meaning the inheritors, one who would spoil their inheritance’.
