قُلْتُ لِأَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ النَّصْرَانِيُّ يَمُوتُ وَ لَهُ ابْنٌ مُسْلِمٌ أَ يَرِثُهُ قَالَ فَقَالَ نَعَمْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ لَمْ يَزِدْهُ بِالْإِسْلَامِ إِلَّا عِزّاً فَنَحْنُ نَرِثُهُمْ وَ لَا يَرِثُونَّا .
Translation
From him, from Musa Bin Bakr, from Abdullah Bin Ayn who said, ‘I said to Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup>, ‘May I be sacrificed for you<sup>asws</sup>! The Christian died and for him was a Muslim son, would he inherit him?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Yes. Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic did not Increase with Al-Islam except for honour, so we inherit them, but they do not inherit us’.
