مَنْ أَعْتَقَ رَجُلًا سَائِبَةً فَلَيْسَ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ جَرِيرَتِهِ شَيْءٌ وَ لَيْسَ لَهُ مِنْ مِيرَاثِهِ شَيْءٌ وَ لْيُشْهِدْ عَلَى ذَلِكَ .
Translation
A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad and Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad and Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, altogether from Ibn Mahboub, from Abdullah Bin Sinan, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘The one emancipates a man unconditionally, so there is nothing upon him from his crimes, anything, and there is nothing for him from his inheritance, anything, and let him have witnesses upon that’.
