قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) الرَّجْمُ فِي الْقُرْآنِ قَوْلُ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ إِذَا زَنَى الشَّيْخُ وَ الشَّيْخَةُ فَارْجُمُوهُمَا الْبَتَّةَ فَإِنَّهُمَا قَضَيَا الشَّهْوَةَ .

اور اس کی سند کے ساتھ، یونس سے، عبد اللہ بن سنان سے، جنہوں نے کہا: ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام نے فرمایا: 'سنگساری قرآن میں ہے — اللہ عزوجل کا فرمان: «جب بوڑھا اور بوڑھی زنا کریں تو انہیں یقیناً سنگسار کرو، کیونکہ انہوں نے شہوت پوری کر لی ہے۔»'
Translation
And by his chain, form Yunus, from Abdullah Bin Sinan who said, ‘Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> said; ‘The stoning is in the Quran, the Words of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic. When the old man and the old woman commit adultery, so stone both of them regardless, (because) for these two the lustful desire has expired’.
