سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) عَنْ رَجُلٍ يَزْنِي قَبْلَ أَنْ يَدْخُلَ بِأَهْلِهِ أَ يُرْجَمُ قَالَ لَا .

ہمارے بعض اصحاب نے احمد بن محمد سے، انہوں نے حسین بن سعید سے، انہوں نے فضالہ بن ایوب سے، انہوں نے رفاعہ سے روایت کی — انہوں نے کہا: میں نے ابو عبداللہ (علیہ السلام) سے ایک ایسے آدمی کے بارے میں سوال کیا جو اپنی بیوی کے ساتھ دخول سے پہلے زنا کرے — کیا اسے سنگسار کیا جائے گا؟ آپ نے فرمایا: نہیں۔
Translation
A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Al Husayn Bin Saeed, from Fazalat Bin Ayoub, from Rafa’at who said, ‘I asked Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> about a man who commited adultery before he copulated with his wife, would he be stoned?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘No’.
