حَدُّ الْجَلْدِ أَنْ يُوجَدَا فِي لِحَافٍ وَاحِدٍ فَالرَّجُلَانِ يُجْلَدَانِ إِذَا أُخِذَا فِي لِحَافٍ وَاحِدٍ الْحَدَّ وَ الْمَرْأَتَانِ تُجْلَدَانِ إِذَا أُخِذَتَا فِي لِحَافٍ وَاحِدٍ الْحَدَّ .

مجھ سے علی بن ابراہیم نے اپنے والد سے، اور محمد بن یحیی نے احمد بن محمد بن عیسیٰ سے، سب نے ابن ابی عمیر سے، انہوں نے حماد سے، انہوں نے حلبی سے، انہوں نے ابو عبد اللہ (علیہ السلام) سے روایت کی کہ آپ نے فرمایا: کوڑوں کی حد یہ ہے کہ دو افراد ایک لحاف میں پائے جائیں۔ پس دونوں مرد جب ایک لحاف میں پکڑے جائیں تو انہیں حد لگائی جائے گی، اور دونوں عورتیں جب ایک لحاف میں پکڑی جائیں تو انہیں حد لگائی جائے گی۔
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim narrated to me, form his father and Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Isa altogether, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Hammad, from Al Halby, Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said, ‘(Apply) the Penalty (<span class="iTxt">Hadd</span>) of the lashing if you find two in one bed covering. So if there are two men having taken to be in one quilt, both would be whipped the Penalty (<span class="iTxt">Hadd</span>), and the two women would both be whipped the Penalty (<span class="iTxt">Hadd</span>) when they take to be in one quilt’.
