John Shaqi

وَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ أَنَّ أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ( عليه السلام ) أُتِيَ بِرَجُلٍ اخْتَلَسَ دُرَّةً مِنْ أُذُنِ جَارِيَةٍ قَالَ هَذِهِ الدَّغَارَةُ الْمُعْلَنَةُ فَضَرَبَهُ وَ حَبَسَهُ .


Translation

And by this chain, that, ‘They came with a man to Amir Al-Momineen<sup>asws</sup> who had picked ear rings from the ears of a girl. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘This is open snatching’. So he<sup>asws</sup> whipped him and imprisoned him’.
