الْأَمَةِ تَزْنِي قَالَ تُجْلَدُ نِصْفَ حَدِّ الْحُرِّ كَانَ لَهَا زَوْجٌ أَوْ لَمْ يَكُنْ .
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ibn Mahboub, from Al Haris Bin Al Ahowl, from Bureyd, (It has been narrated) from Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> regarding the slave woman who committed adultery. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘She would be whipped half the Penalty (<span class="iTxt">Hadd</span>) of the free, whether she had a husband for her, or there did not happen to be one’.
