قَضَى أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ( عليه السلام ) فِي الْعَبِيدِ وَ الْإِمَاءِ إِذَا زَنَى أَحَدُهُمْ أَنْ يُجْلَدَ خَمْسِينَ جَلْدَةً إِنْ كَانَ مُسْلِماً أَوْ كَافِراً أَوْ نَصْرَانِيّاً وَ لَا يُرْجَمَ وَ لَا يُنْفَى .
Translation
Ali, from his father, from Ibn Abu Najran, from Aasim Bin Humeyd, from Muhammad Bin Qays, (It has been narrated) from Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Amir Al-Momineen<sup>asws</sup> judged regarding the slave men and the slave women when one of them commited adultery, that he would be whipped eighty lashes whether he was a Muslim, or an Infidel, or a Christian, and would neither be stoned nor exiled’.
