سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ أُتِيَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ( عليه السلام ) بِرَجُلَيْنِ قَدْ قَذَفَ كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا صَاحِبَهُ بِالزِّنَى فِي بَدَنِهِ فَدَرَأَ عَنْهُمَا الْحَدَّ وَ عَزَّرَهُمَا .
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Isa, from Ibn Mahboub, from Abu Wallad Al hannat who said, ‘I heard Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> saying, ‘They came to Amir Al-Momineen<sup>asws</sup> with two men, each one of them had slandered his companion with the adultery in his body. So he<sup>asws</sup> staved off the Penalty (<span class="iTxt">Hadd</span>) from both of them, and reprimanded them both’.
