سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) عَنِ الِافْتِرَاءِ عَلَى أَهْلِ الذِّمَّةِ هَلْ يُجْلَدُ الْمُسْلِمُ الْحَدَّ فِي الِافْتِرَاءِ عَلَيْهِمْ قَالَ لَا وَ لَكِنْ يُعَزَّرُ .
Translation
Humeyd Bin Ziyad, from Al Hassan Bin Muhammad Bin Sama’at, from Ahmad Bin Al Hassan Al Maysami, from Aban Bin Usman, from Ismail Bin Al Fazal who said, ‘I asked Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> about the fabricating upon the <span class="iTxt">Ahl al-Zimma</span>, would the Muslim be whipped the Penalty (<span class="iTxt">Hadd</span>) with regards to the fabrication against them?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘No, but he would be reprimanded’.
