قَضَى أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ( عليه السلام ) فِيمَنْ قَتَلَ وَ شَرِبَ خَمْراً وَ سَرَقَ فَأَقَامَ عَلَيْهِ الْحَدَّ فَجَلَدَهُ لِشُرْبِهِ الْخَمْرَ وَ قَطَعَ يَدَهُ فِي سَرِقَتِهِ وَ قَتَلَهُ بِقَتْلِهِ .
Translation
A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Isa, from Al Husayn Bin Saeed, from his brother Al Hassan, from Zurara Bin Muhammad, from Sama’at, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Amir Al-Momineen<sup>asws</sup> judged regarding the one who murdered, and drank wine, and stole, so he<sup>asws</sup> established the Penalty (<span class="iTxt">Hadd</span>) upon him. So he<sup>asws</sup> whipped him due to his drinking the wine, and cut his hand regarding his theft, and killed him due to his comitting murder’.
