كَانَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ نُدَمَاءِ روزحسنى وَ آخَرُ مَعَهُ فَقَالَ لَهُ هُوَ ذَا يَجْبِي الْأَمْوَالَ وَ لَهُ وُكَلَاءُ وَ سَمَّوْا جَمِيعَ الْوُكَلَاءِ فِي النَّوَاحِي وَ أُنْهِيَ ذَلِكَ إِلَى عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ الْوَزِيرِ فَهَمَّ الْوَزِيرُ بِالْقَبْضِ عَلَيْهِمْ فَقَالَ السُّلْطَانُ اطْلُبُوا أَيْنَ هَذَا الرَّجُلُ فَإِنَّ هَذَا أَمْرٌ غَلِيظٌ فَقَالَ عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ نَقْبِضُ عَلَى الْوُكَلَاءِ فَقَالَ السُّلْطَانُ لَا وَ لَكِنْ دُسُّوا لَهُمْ قَوْماً لَا يُعْرَفُونَ بِالْأَمْوَالِ فَمَنْ قَبَضَ مِنْهُمْ شَيْئاً قُبِضَ عَلَيْهِ قَالَ فَخَرَجَ بِأَنْ يَتَقَدَّمَ إِلَى جَمِيعِ الْوُكَلَاءِ أَنْ لَا يَأْخُذُوا مِنْ أَحَدٍ شَيْئاً وَ أَنْ يَمْتَنِعُوا مِنْ ذَلِكَ وَ يَتَجَاهَلُوا الْأَمْرَ فَانْدَسَّ لِمُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ رَجُلٌ لَا يَعْرِفُهُ وَ خَلَا بِهِ فَقَالَ مَعِي مَالٌ أُرِيدُ أَنْ أُوصِلَهُ فَقَالَ لَهُ مُحَمَّدٌ غَلِطْتَ أَنَا لَا أَعْرِفُ مِنْ هَذَا شَيْئاً فَلَمْ يَزَلْ يَتَلَطَّفُهُ وَ مُحَمَّدٌ يَتَجَاهَلُ عَلَيْهِ وَ بَثُّوا الْجَوَاسِيسَ وَ امْتَنَعَ الْوُكَلَاءُ كُلُّهُمْ لِمَا كَانَ تَقَدَّمَ إِلَيْهِمْ .

الحسین بن الحسن العلوی نے کہا: روزحسنى کے قریبی ساتھیوں میں سے ایک شخص تھا، اور ایک اور اس کے ساتھ تھا۔ اس نے اس سے کہا: “وہ یہ ہے: وہ اموال جمع کرتا ہے، اور اس کے وکیل ہیں،” اور انہوں نے گرد و نواح کے تمام وکلا کے نام لیے۔ یہ بات وزیر عبید اللہ بن سلیمان تک پہنچائی گئی، تو وزیر نے انہیں گرفتار کرنے کا ارادہ کیا۔ پھر سلطان نے کہا: “دیکھو یہ شخص کہاں ہے، کیونکہ یہ ایک سنگین معاملہ ہے۔” تو عبید اللہ بن سلیمان نے کہا: “ہم وکلا کو گرفتار کرتے ہیں۔” مگر سلطان نے کہا: “نہیں، بلکہ ان کے پاس ایسے لوگوں کو بھیجو جو ان کے لیے نامعلوم ہوں، اور ان کے ساتھ مال ہو؛ پھر ان میں سے جو کچھ لے، اسے گرفتار کر لیا جائے۔” اس نے کہا: پھر تمام وکلا کو حکم دیا گیا کہ وہ کسی سے کچھ نہ لیں، اس سے باز رہیں، اور اس معاملے سے لاعلمی ظاہر کریں۔ پھر ایک آدمی محمد بن احمد کے پاس گھس آیا، جسے وہ نہیں جانتا تھا، اور اس سے تنہائی میں ملا۔ اس نے کہا: “میرے پاس کچھ مال ہے جسے میں پہنچانا چاہتا ہوں۔” محمد نے اس سے کہا: “تم نے غلطی کی ہے؛ میں اس بارے میں کچھ نہیں جانتا۔” وہ نرمی سے اسے آمادہ کرنے کی کوشش کرتا رہا اور محمد اس کے سامنے لاعلمی ظاہر کرتا رہا۔ جاسوس بھیجے گئے، اور تمام وکلا اس وجہ سے باز رہے کہ جو کچھ پہلے ہی انہیں بتایا جا چکا تھا۔
Translation
Al Husayn Bin Al Hassan Al Alawy said, ‘There was a man from the informants of Rouz Hasany, and another one was with him, and he said to him, ‘He<sup>asws</sup> is that (Imam<sup>asws</sup>). The wealth comes to him<sup>asws</sup>, and for him<sup>asws</sup> are agents’, and he named the entirety of the agents in the surrounding areas, and that ended up to Ubeydullah Bin Suleyman, the Vizier. So the Vizier thought of capturing them, but the Sultan said, ‘Seek where this man<sup>asws</sup> is, for this is a serious matter’. So Ubeydullah Bin Suleyman said, ‘We should capture the agents’, but the Sultan said, ‘No, but send a group of people with some wealth to them whom they do not recognise, and the one from them who takes possession of anything, capture him’. He (the narrator) said, ‘So there came out (a letter) to the entirety of the agents that they should not be taking anything from anyone, and that they should be preventing from that and be ignorant of the matter. So a man came over to Muhammad Bin Ahmad whom he did not recognise, and isolated with him, then said to him, ‘There is some wealth with me I am intending to deliver to him<sup>asws</sup>’. So Muhammad said to him, ‘You are mistaken. I do not know anything from this’. But he did not cease to be nice to him, and Muhammad kept on being ignorant over it, and they sent spies across and the agents, all of them refused (to take anything) due to what (message) had proceeded to them’.
