بَاعَ جَعْفَرٌ فِيمَنْ بَاعَ صَبِيَّةً جَعْفَرِيَّةً كَانَتْ فِي الدَّارِ يُرَبُّونَهَا فَبَعَثَ بَعْضَ الْعَلَوِيِّينَ وَ أَعْلَمَ الْمُشْتَرِيَ خَبَرَهَا فَقَالَ الْمُشْتَرِي قَدْ طَابَتْ نَفْسِي بِرَدِّهَا وَ أَنْ لَا أُرْزَأَ مِنْ ثَمَنِهَا شَيْئاً فَخُذْهَا فَذَهَبَ الْعَلَوِيُّ فَأَعْلَمَ أَهْلَ النَّاحِيَةِ الْخَبَرَ فَبَعَثُوا إِلَى الْمُشْتَرِي بِأَحَدٍ وَ أَرْبَعِينَ دِينَاراً وَ أَمَرُوهُ بِدَفْعِهَا إِلَى صَاحِبِهَا .

علی بن محمد نے کہا: جعفر نے، جن لوگوں کو اس نے بیچا ان میں، ایک جعفری لڑکی کو بھی بیچ دیا جو گھر میں تھی اور جس کی وہ پرورش کر رہے تھے۔ پھر علویوں میں سے ایک کو بھیجا گیا اور خریدار کو اس کا حال بتایا گیا، تو خریدار نے کہا: “میں اسے واپس کرنے پر راضی ہوں، بشرطیکہ اس کی قیمت میں سے مجھے کچھ نقصان نہ ہو؛ پس اسے لے لو۔” پھر وہ علوی گیا اور علاقے کے لوگوں کو اس معاملے کی خبر دی، تو انہوں نے خریدار کے پاس اکتالیس دینار بھیجے اور اسے حکم دیا کہ اسے اس کے مالک کے حوالے کر دے۔
Translation
Ali Bin Muhammad said, ‘Ja’far (brother of the 12<sup>th</sup> Imam<sup>asws</sup>) sold a Ja’farite female child among what he sold, who was in the house being nourished (by the 12<sup>th</sup> Imam<sup>asws</sup>). So one of the Alawites went to the buyer informing of her news, and the buyer said, ‘I have made good with myself to return her, if I could get something from her price’. So the Alawite went and informed the people of the hand (of the 12<sup>th</sup> Imam<sup>asws</sup> of the news, and they sent to the buyer one hundred and forty Dinars and instructed him with handing her over to her guardian’.
