مَا مِنْ نَفْسٍ تُقْتَلُ بَرَّةٍ وَ لَا فَاجِرَةٍ إِلَّا وَ هِيَ تُحْشَرُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مُتَعَلِّقَةً بِقَاتِلِهِ بِيَدِهِ الْيُمْنَى وَ رَأْسُهُ بِيَدِهِ الْيُسْرَى وَ أَوْدَاجُهُ تَشْخُبُ دَماً يَقُولُ يَا رَبِّ سَلْ هَذَا فِيمَ قَتَلَنِي فَإِنْ كَانَ قَتَلَهُ فِي طَاعَةِ اللَّهِ أُثِيبَ الْقَاتِلُ الْجَنَّةَ وَ أُذْهِبَ بِالْمَقْتُولِ إِلَى النَّارِ وَ إِنْ قَالَ فِي طَاعَةِ فُلَانٍ قِيلَ لَهُ اقْتُلْهُ كَمَا قَتَلَكَ ثُمَّ يَفْعَلُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ فِيهِمَا بَعْدُ مَشِيئَةً .

محمد بن یحییٰ نے احمد بن محمد سے، انہوں نے محمد بن سنان سے، انہوں نے ابو الجارود سے، انہوں نے ابو جعفر علیہ السلام سے روایت کی کہ آپ نے فرمایا: کوئی بھی جان جو قتل کی جائے، نیک ہو یا بدکار، سوائے اس کے نہیں کہ وہ قیامت کے دن اپنے قاتل سے لپٹی ہوئی اٹھائی جائے گی — اپنے سر کو دائیں ہاتھ میں اٹھائے اور اپنی رگوں سے خون بہتا ہوا — کہتے ہوئے: اے رب! اس سے پوچھ کہ اس نے مجھے کیوں قتل کیا؟ پس اگر اس نے اسے اللہ کی اطاعت میں قتل کیا تھا تو قاتل کو جنت کا ثواب دیا جائے گا اور مقتول کو آگ کی طرف لے جایا جائے گا۔ اور اگر وہ کہے کہ فلاں کی اطاعت میں (قتل کیا) تو اسے کہا جائے گا: جیسے اس نے تجھے قتل کیا، تو بھی اسے قتل کر۔ پھر اللہ عز وجل ان دونوں کے ساتھ بعد میں اپنی مشیت کے مطابق معاملہ فرمائے گا۔
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Muhammad Bin Sinan, from Abu Al Jaroud, Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> has said: ‘There is none from the killed soul, righteous or immoral, except that it would be Resurrected on the Day of Judgement holding on to his murderer by right hand, and his (own severed) head in his left hand and his veins streaming blood. He would be saying, ‘O Lord<sup>azwj</sup>! Ask this one, why did he kill me?’ So if it was such that his killing was in obedience of Allah<sup>azwj</sup>, they would bring the killer to the Paradise and go with the killed one to the Fire; and if it was in obedience to so and so (other than Allah<sup>azwj</sup>), it would be said to him, ‘Kill him just as he had killed you’. Then Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic would Deal with the two of them afterwards as He<sup>azwj</sup> Wishes to’.
