سَأَلْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) عَنْ قَوْلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ مَنْ قَتَلَ نَفْساً بِغَيْرِ نَفْسٍ... فَكَأَنَّما قَتَلَ النَّاسَ جَمِيعاً قَالَ لَهُ فِي النَّارِ مَقْعَدٌ لَوْ قَتَلَ النَّاسَ جَمِيعاً لَمْ يَرِدْ إِلَّا إِلَى ذَلِكَ الْمَقْعَدِ .

میں نے ابو جعفر علیہ السلام سے اللہ عزوجل کے اس قول کے بارے میں سوال کیا: 'جو کوئی بغیر قصاص کے کسی نفس کو قتل کرے... گویا اس نے تمام انسانوں کو قتل کیا'۔ آپ نے فرمایا: 'اس کے لیے آگ میں ایک جگہ ہے۔ اگرچہ وہ تمام لوگوں کو بھی قتل کر ڈالے، وہ اسی جگہ ہی لوٹے گا۔'
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father and Muhammad Bin Ismail, from Al Fazl Bin Shazaan, altogether from Hammad Bin Isa, from Rabie Bin Abdullah, from Muhammad Bin Muslim who said, ‘I asked Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> about the Words of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:5#h32"><a href="/books/quran:5#h32">[5:32]</a></a> whoever slays a soul, unless it be for manslaughter . . . it is as though he slew all the people</span>. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘For him is a seat in the Fire, had he killed the people altogether, he would not have been Returned, except to that (very) place’.
