الدِّيَةُ عَشَرَةُ آلَافِ دِرْهَمٍ أَوْ أَلْفُ دِينَارٍ قَالَ جَمِيلٌ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) الدِّيَةُ مِائَةٌ مِنَ الْإِبِلِ .

علی بن ابراہیم نے اپنے والد سے، انہوں نے ابن ابی عمیر سے، انہوں نے جمیل اور حماد سے، انہوں نے حلبی سے، انہوں نے ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کی کہ آپ نے فرمایا: دیت دس ہزار درہم یا ایک ہزار دینار ہے۔ جمیل نے کہا: ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام نے فرمایا: دیت سو اونٹ ہے۔
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Jameel and Hammad, from Al Halby, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘The wergild is then thousand Dirhams, or a thousand Dinars’. Jameel (the narrator) said: ‘Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘The wergild is one hundred from the camels’.
