لِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ إِنَّ لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ فِي كُلِّ سَنَةٍ وَ إِنَّهُ يَنْزِلُ فِي تِلْكَ اللَّيْلَةِ أَمْرُ السَّنَةِ وَ لِذَلِكَ الْأَمْرِ وُلَاةٌ بَعْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) فَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ مَنْ هُمْ قَالَ أَنَا وَ أَحَدَ عَشَرَ مِنْ صُلْبِي أَئِمَّةٌ مُحَدَّثُونَ .

محمد بن یحیی، احمد بن محمد بن عیسی اور محمد بن ابی عبداللہ اور محمد بن الحسن سے، سهل بن زیاد سے، سب کے سب الحسن بن العباس بن الحارث سے، ابو جعفر الثانی علیہ السلام سے، کہ امیر المؤمنین علیہ السلام نے فرمایا: ابن عباس سے: بے شک لیلۃ القدر ہر سال ہوتی ہے، اور اسی رات سال کے امر کا نزول ہوتا ہے، اور اس امر کے لیے رسول اللہ صلى الله عليه وآله کے بعد صاحبانِ اختیار ہیں۔ تو ابن عباس نے کہا: 'وہ کون ہیں؟' انہوں نے فرمایا: 'میں اور میری پشت سے گیارہ، ائمہ جو محدَّثون ہیں۔'
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Isa and Muhammad Bin Abu Abdullah and Muhammad Bin Al Hassan, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, altogether from Al Hassan Bin Al Abbas Bin Al Hareysh, (It has been narrated) from Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> the 2<sup>nd</sup> that Amir Al-Momineen<sup>asws</sup> said to Ibn Abbas: ‘The Night of Pre-determination (لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ) is during every years, and during that night descends the Commands for the year, and for that has to be a Master<sup>asws</sup> of the Command after Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup>’. So Ibn Abbas said, ‘Who are they<sup>asws</sup>?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘I<sup>asws</sup> and eleven from my<sup>asws</sup> lineage, Imams<sup>asws</sup> who are <span class="iTxt">Muhaddith</span> (Whom Angels discuss with)’.
