John Shaqi

سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ فِي رَجُلٍ أَرَادَ امْرَأَةً عَلَى نَفْسِهَا حَرَاماً فَرَمَتْهُ بِحَجَرٍ فَأَصَابَ مِنْهُ مَقْتَلًا قَالَ لَيْسَ عَلَيْهَا شَيْ‏ءٌ فِيمَا بَيْنَهَا وَ بَيْنَ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ وَ إِنْ قُدِّمَتْ إِلَى إِمَامٍ عَادِلٍ أَهْدَرَ دَمَهُ .


Translation

Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, and a number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, both together from Al Hassan Bin Mahboub, from Abdullah Bin Sinan who said, ‘I heard Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> saying regarding a man who intended upon a woman unlawfully, so she pelts him with a rock, and he is hit from it and is killed. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘There is nothing upon her regarding what is between her and Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic, and if she is brought to a just Imam<sup>asws</sup>, he<sup>asws</sup> would stave off his blood (wergild)’.
