سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) عَنْ رَجُلٍ قَطَعَ إِصْبَعَ امْرَأَةٍ قَالَ يُقْطَعُ إِصْبَعُهُ حَتَّى يَنْتَهِيَ إِلَى ثُلُثِ الدِّيَةِ فَإِذَا جَازَ الثُّلُثَ كَانَ فِي الرَّجُلِ الضِّعْفُ .
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Al Hassan Bin Ali, from Abdul Kareem, from Ibn Abu Yafour who said, ‘I asked Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> about a man who cut a finger of a woman. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘His finger would be cut until it ends up to a third of the wergild. So when it exceeds the third, there would be double regarding the man’.
