سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ رَجُلٍ قَتَلَ مَمْلُوكاً لَهُ قَالَ يُعْتِقُ رَقَبَةً وَ يَصُومُ شَهْرَيْنِ مُتَتَابِعَيْنِ وَ يَتُوبُ إِلَى اللَّهِ . عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنْ زُرْعَةَ عَنْ سَمَاعَةَ مِثْلَهُ .
Translation
A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Khalid, from Usman Bin Isa, from Sama’at, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, said, ‘I asked him<sup>asws</sup> about a man who kills a slave of his. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘He emancipates a neck, and Fasts for two months consecutively, and repents to Allah<sup>azwj</sup>’. <span style="font-size: small">Ali Bin Ibrahim, from Muhammad Bin Isa, from Yunus, from Zurara, from Sama’at</span> - similar to it’.
