قَالَ فِي الرَّجُلِ يَقْتُلُ مَمْلُوكَهُ مُتَعَمِّداً قَالَ يُعْجِبُنِي أَنْ يُعْتِقَ رَقَبَةً وَ يَصُومَ شَهْرَيْنِ مُتَتَابِعَيْنِ وَ يُطْعِمَ سِتِّينَ مِسْكِيناً ثُمَّ تَكُونَ التَّوْبَةُ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ .
Translation
Ali, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Hammad, from Al Halby, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said regarding the man who kills his slave deliberately. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘I<sup>asws</sup> would like it if he would emancipate a neck, and Fasts for two months consecutively, and feed sixty poor (persons), then there would happen to be repentance (for him) after that’.
