الْعَبْدِ إِذَا قَتَلَ الْحُرَّ دُفِعَ إِلَى أَوْلِيَاءِ الْمَقْتُولِ فَإِنْ شَاءُوا قَتَلُوهُ وَ إِنْ شَاءُوا اسْتَرَقُّوهُ .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from hammad Bin Isa, from Hareyz, from Zurara, (It has been narrated) from one of the two (5<sup>th</sup> or 6<sup>th</sup> Imam<sup>asws</sup>) regarding the slave when he kills the free, he would be handed over to the guardians of the killed one, so if they so desire to, they kill him, and if they so desire to they keep him (as a slave for them)’.
