Translation

A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Khalid, from Usman Bin Isa, from Sama’at Bin Mahran, (The narrator) says, ‘I asked Abu Abdullahasws about the man who was found killed in the town, or in between two towns. So heasws said: ‘It would be compared what is between the two, so whichever of the two was nearer, would be responsible’.
