John Shaqi

سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ السَّائِلِ الَّذِي يَسْأَلُ فِي كَفِّهِ هَلْ تُقْبَلُ شَهَادَتُهُ فَقَالَ كَانَ أَبِي ( عليه السلام ) لَا يَقْبَلُ شَهَادَتَهُ إِذَا سَأَلَ فِي كَفِّهِ .


Translation

Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Al Amaraky Bin Ali, (It has been narrated) from Ali son of Ja’far<sup>asws</sup>, from his brother<sup>asws</sup> Abu Al-Hassan<sup>asws</sup>, said, ‘I asked him<sup>asws</sup> about the beggar who begs by his palm, would his testimony be accepted?’ So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘His testimony is not acceptable when he begs by his palm’.
