رَجُلٍ شَهِدَ عَلَى شَهَادَةِ رَجُلٍ فَجَاءَ الرَّجُلُ فَقَالَ لَمْ أُشْهِدْهُ فَقَالَ تَجُوزُ شَهَادَةُ أَعْدَلِهِمَا وَ لَوْ كَانَ أَعْدَلُهُمَا وَاحِداً لَمْ تَجُزْ شَهَادَتُهُ عَدَالَةً فِيهِمَا .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from Muhammad Bin Isa, from Yunus, from Ibn Sinan, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> regarding a man who testified upon a testimony of another man. So the man comes over, so he said to him, ‘I did not (appoint him) as a witness (on my behalf)’. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘The one who is more just from the two would be allowed (to give testimony), but if (there is only) one just (to be found), his testimony would not be allowed in fairness to both of them’.
