ہمارے کچھ اصحاب سے، احمد بن محمد بن خالد سے، اپنے والد سے، جنہوں نے اسے ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام تک مرفوع روایت کیا، انہوں نے فرمایا: قاضی چار ہیں: تین آگ میں اور ایک جنت میں — ایک شخص جو جانتے ہوئے ظلم سے فیصلہ کرے تو وہ آگ میں ہے؛ اور ایک شخص جو ناجانتے ہوئے ظلم سے فیصلہ کرے تو وہ آگ میں ہے؛ اور ایک شخص جو ناجانتے ہوئے حق سے فیصلہ کرے تو وہ آگ میں ہے؛ اور ایک شخص جو جانتے ہوئے حق سے فیصلہ کرے تو وہ جنت میں ہے۔ اور انہوں نے علیہ السلام فرمایا: 'حکم دو طرح کا ہے — اللہ کا حکم اور جاہلیت کا حکم۔ تو جس نے اللہ کے حکم میں غلطی کی اس نے جاہلیت کے حکم کے مطابق فیصلہ کیا'۔

Translation

A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Khalid, from his father, (It has been) narrated from Abu Abdullah^asws: ‘The judges are four, three are in the Fire, and one in the Paradise – a man who judges with inequity and he knows, so he is in the Fire; and a man judges with inequity and he does not know, so he is in the Fire; and a man who judges with the truth and he does not know, so he is in the Fire; and a man who judges with the truth and he does know, so he is in the Paradise’. And he^asws said: ‘The judgements are two judgements – a judgement of Allah^azwj, and a judgement of the ignorance. So the one who errs in the Judgements of Allah^azwj, has judged by the judgement of the ignorance (disbelief)’.
