علی بن ابراہیم، ان کے والد سے، انہوں نے کہا: میں ابی جعفر الثانی (علیہ السلام) کی خدمت میں حاضر تھا کہ صالح بن محمد بن سہل ان کے پاس داخل ہوا، اور وہ قم میں ان کے لیے وقف کا انتظام کرتا تھا۔ اس نے کہا: “اے میرے سردار، مجھے دس ہزار کی ذمہ داری سے بری کر دیجیے، کیونکہ میں نے اسے خرچ کر دیا ہے۔” تو انہوں نے اس سے فرمایا: “تم بری ہو۔” پھر جب صالح باہر گیا تو ابو جعفر (علیہ السلام) نے فرمایا: “ان میں سے ایک شخص آلِ محمد کے حق کے مال، ان کے یتیموں، ان کے محتاجوں، ان کے فقیروں اور ان کے مسافروں کے مال پر جھپٹ پڑتا ہے اور اسے لے لیتا ہے؛ پھر میرے پاس آ کر کہتا ہے، ‘مجھے بری کر دیجیے۔’ کیا وہ سمجھتا تھا کہ میں کہوں گا، ‘میں ایسا نہیں کروں گا’؟ اللہ کی قسم، اللہ قیامت کے دن ان سے اس بارے میں ضرور سخت سوال کرے گا۔”

Translation

Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father who said, ‘I was in the presence of Abu Ja’far^asws the 2^nd when Salih Bin Muhammad Bin Sahl came over to him^asws, and he used to administer the dedications (Waqf) for him^asws at Qumm. So he said, ‘O my Master^asws! Make me to be in ease from ten thousand for I have spent it’. So he^asws to him: ‘You are in an ease (i.e. you don’t have to pay)’. So when Salih went out, Abu Ja’far^asws said: ‘One of you leaps upon the wealth of the right of the Progeny^asws of Muhammad^saww, and their^asws orphans, and their^asws needy ones, and their^asws poor ones, and their^asws needy travellers, so he takes it, then he comes over to me^asws and he is saying, ‘Make me to be in ease’. Do you view him guessing that I^asws would be saying: ‘Don’t do it?’ By Allah^azwj! Allah^azwj will be Questioning them on the Day of Judgment about that, a vigorous Questioning’.
