إِنَّ فِي كِتَابِ عَلِيٍّ ( عليه السلام ) أَنَّ الْيَمِينَ الْكَاذِبَةَ وَ قَطِيعَةَ الرَّحِمِ تَذَرَانِ الدِّيَارَ بَلَاقِعَ مِنْ أَهْلِهَا وَ تُنْغِلُ الرَّحِمَ يَعْنِي انْقِطَاعَ النَّسْلِ.

محمد بن یحیی نے احمد بن محمد سے، انہوں نے ابن محبوب سے، انہوں نے مالک بن عطیہ سے، انہوں نے ابو عبیدہ الحذاء سے، انہوں نے ابو جعفر علیہ السلام سے روایت کی کہ آپ نے فرمایا: 'بے شک کتاب علی علیہ السلام میں ہے کہ جھوٹی قسم اور قطع رحمی دونوں گھروں کو ان کے رہنے والوں سے خالی کر دیتی ہیں اور رحم کو بند کر دیتی ہیں، یعنی نسل منقطع ہو جاتی ہے۔'
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ibn Mahboub, from Malik Bin Atiyya, from Abu Ubeyda Al Haza’a, (It has been narrated) from Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘In the Book of Ali<sup>asws</sup> is that the false oath, and the cutting-off of relationships both devastate the houses to be deserted from its inhabitants, and locks the wombs, meaning the cutting-off of the lineage’.
