قَالَ لِي يَا يُونُسُ لَا تَحْلِفْ بِالْبَرَاءَةِ مِنَّا فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ حَلَفَ بِالْبَرَاءَةِ مِنَّا صَادِقاً أَوْ كَاذِباً فَقَدْ بَرِئَ مِنَّا .

محمد بن یحییٰ نے محمد بن الحسین سے، انہوں نے محمد بن اسماعیل سے، انہوں نے صالح بن عقبہ سے، انہوں نے یونس بن ظبیان سے روایت کی کہ انہوں نے کہا: آپ علیہ السلام نے مجھ سے فرمایا: 'اے یونس! ہم سے براءت کی قسم مت کھاؤ، کیونکہ جو کوئی ہم سے براءت کی قسم کھائے، خواہ سچائی میں ہو یا جھوٹ میں، وہ یقیناً ہم سے بری ہو گیا۔'
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Muhammad Bin Al Husayn, from Muhammad Bin Ismail, from Salih Bin Uqba, from Yunus Bin Zabyan who said, ‘He<sup>asws</sup> said to me: ‘O Yunus! Do not swear an oath with the disavowing (giving up/rejecting) from us<sup>asws</sup>, for the one who swear with the disavowing from us<sup>asws</sup>, truly or falsely, so he is disavowed (rejected) from us<sup>asws</sup>’.
