سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَقُولُ عَلَيَّ نَذْرٌ وَ لَمْ يُسَمِّ شَيْئاً قَالَ لَيْسَ بِشَيْءٍ .

ہمارے کئی اصحاب نے سہل بن زیاد سے، انہوں نے احمد بن محمد بن ابی نصر سے، انہوں نے ثعلبہ بن میمون سے، انہوں نے معمر بن عمر سے روایت کی کہ انہوں نے کہا: میں نے ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے اس شخص کے بارے میں پوچھا جو کہتا ہے 'میرے ذمے نذر ہے' اور اس نے کچھ بھی بیان نہیں کیا۔ آپ علیہ السلام نے فرمایا: 'یہ کچھ بھی نہیں (باطل ہے)۔'
Translation
A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Abu Nasr, from Sa’alba Bin Maymoun, from Ma’mar Bin Umar who said, ‘I asked Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> about the man saying, ‘Upon me is a vow’, and he did not specify anything. He<sup>asws</sup> said; ‘It is not with anything’.
