Translation

Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, and Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, both together from Ibn Mahboub, from Abu Ja’far Al Ahowl from Sallam Bin Al Mustaneer, (It has been narrated) from Abu Ja’farasws regarding the Words of Allahazwj Mighty and Majestic <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:20#h115"><a href="/books/quran:20#h115">[20:115]</a></a> And We had Given a Covenant to Adam before, but he forgot; and We did not find determination in him</span>. So heasws said: ‘When Allahazwj Mighty and Majestic Said to Adamas: “Enter the Paradise!”, Said to himas: “O Adamas! <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:7#h19"><a href="/books/quran:7#h19">[7:19]</a></a> and do not go near this tree</span>, and Heazwj Meant himas. So Adamas said to hisas Lordazwj, ‘How can Ias go near it and Youazwj have Forbidden meas from it, Ias and myas wife’. Heasws said: ‘So Heazwj said to both of themas: “Do not to go near it, Meaning do not eat from it’. So Adamas and hisas wife said: ‘Yes, O ouras Lordazwj, weas will not go near it, nor eat from it’, and theyas did not say: ‘Allahazwj Willing’ in both theiras speeches of ‘Yes’. Thus Allahazwj Left them both to themselves, and to their memories’. Heasws said: ‘And Allahazwj Mighty and Majestic had Said to Hisazwj Prophetsaww in the Book <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:18#h23"><a href="/books/quran:18#h23">[18:23]</a></a> And do not say of anything: I will do it tomorrow <a href="/#/books/quran:18#h24"><a href="/books/quran:18#h24">[18:24]</a></a> Without adding, "If Allah so Desires it”</span>. If yousaww do not do it, so the Desire of Allahazwj would Precede with regards to it if yousaww do not do it, not being able upon doing it. Thus, it was due to that, Allahazwj Mighty and Majestic Said <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:18#h24"><a href="/books/quran:18#h24">[18:24]</a></a> and remember your Lord when you forget</span>, i.e., exclude the Desire of Allahazwj in your deed’.
