Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ismail Bin marrar, from Yunus, from one of our companions who said, ‘I asked himasws about the Words of Allahazwj Mighty and Majestic <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:56#h75"><a href="/books/quran:56#h75">[56:75]</a></a> So do not swear by the places of the stars</span>. Heasws said: ‘A great sin upon the one who swears by it. And the people of the Pre-Islamic period were revering the Sanctuary and were not swearing by it, permitting its sanctity for the Sake of Allahazwj in it, and were not violating to the one who was in it, nor expelling an animal from it. So Allahazwj Blessed and High Said <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:90#h1"><a href="/books/quran:90#h1">[90:1]</a></a> Indeed! I swear by this city <a href="/#/books/quran:90#h2"><a href="/books/quran:90#h2">[90:2]</a></a> And you are a dweller of this city <a href="/#/books/quran:90#h3"><a href="/books/quran:90#h3">[90:3]</a></a> And father and son</span>. They were revering the city if they were to swear by it, and they permitted in it the (violation of) sanctity of Rasool-Allahsaww’.
