سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) عَنْ أَهْلِ الْمِلَلِ يُسْتَحْلَفُونَ فَقَالَ لَا تُحْلِفُوهُمْ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Hammad, from Al Halby who said, ‘I asked Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> about getting the people of the other Religions to swear (oaths). So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Do not get them to swear except by Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic’.
