Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Al Qasim Bin Yahya, from his grandfather Al Hassan Bin Rashid, from Najiyya Al Attar who said, ‘I travelled along with Abu Ja’farasws to Makkah. So heasws ordered hisasws slave with something, but he opposed himasws to something else. So Abu Ja’farasws said: ‘By Allahazwj! Iasws will strike you, O slave!’ He (the narrator) said, ‘But I did not see himasws strike him, so I said, ‘May I be sacrificed for youasws! Youasws had sworn to strike yourasws slave, but I did not see you strike him’. So heasws said: ‘Is Allahazwj Mighty and Majestic not Saying <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:2#h237"><a href="/books/quran:2#h237">[2:237]</a></a> and if you forgive it would be nearer to piety</span>’.
