رَجُلٍ حَلَفَ تَقِيَّةً قَالَ إِنْ خِفْتَ عَلَى مَالِكَ وَ دَمِكَ فَاحْلِفْ تَرُدُّهُ بِيَمِينِكَ فَإِنْ لَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ ذَلِكَ يَرُدُّ شَيْئاً فَلَا تَحْلِفْ لَهُمْ .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ismail Bin Marrar, from Yunus, from one of his companions, (It has been narrated) from one of the two (5<sup>th</sup> or 6<sup>th</sup> Imam<sup>asws</sup>) regarding a man who swears in dissimulation. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘If you fear upon your wealth, and your blood, so swear in order to repulse it by your oath. So if you see that, that is not repulsing anything, so do not swear for them’.
